Job Title: Social Worker - Looked After Children
Location: Dudley (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour
About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a social worker to join Dudley's LAC team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will support children in care by managing placements with parents and overseeing young people under interim care orders whose final plans involve adoption or long-term fostering. You will collaborate with the Court Social Worker to build relationships with families and carers, ensuring all Corporate Parenting responsibilities are fulfilled. Tasks include completing Children Looked After (CLA) visits, writing CLA review reports, chairing Personal Education Plan (PEP) meetings, and contributing to permanency planning. You will be based in the Children in Care service with strong collaboration with Family Safeguarding teams, requiring at least three years of post-qualification experience.
