We have an exciting role for a Workshop Assistant to join the team. Key responsibilities include:
1. Converting new hire orders to hire contracts by picking, checking, and packing items prior to dispatch using various shipping methods.
2. Preparing pre-hire documentation, including hire contracts, instruction manuals, and test/calibration certificates.
3. Preparing courier waybills and manifests for shipping documentation.
4. Inspecting returned goods for damages or missing items.
5. Cleaning products before and after hire.
6. Loading and unloading vans.
7. Maintaining stock levels of spares and accessories.
8. Handling goods inward and distributing materials to relevant departments.
9. Supporting staff and customers to provide excellent customer service in a business-to-business environment.
10. Using dedicated hire software and scheduling packages.
11. Occasional deliveries of urgent orders via company van.
12. Ensuring good housekeeping in all work areas to adhere to health, safety, quality, and environmental policies.
