Account Manager/Business Development - Wakefield

Hours and Location of Work:

* Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
* Job Title:Account Manager - Business Development
* Salary:£28,000 – £35,000 per year
* Holiday:23 days + bank holidays (rising to 30 with service)

Job Overview

Are you a people-focused professional with a passion for relationship-building and business growth? We’re looking for anAccount Manager-Business Developmentto join our team at Wakefield. You'll play a key role in managing client accounts, nurturing leads, and driving sales through exceptional customer service and communication.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a brand ambassador, delivering excellent service aligned with our company values.
* Manage customer enquiries through phone and email, providing timely responses (within 2 hours).
* Maintain accurate records and generate quotes using our CRM system.
* Follow booking processes and convert leads into confirmed business.
* Make proactive outbound calls to grow and retain client relationships.
* Upsell relevant courses to existing customers and explore new opportunities.
* Use social media and digital platforms to build new business pipelines.
* Liaise with the Operations Manager to escalate any client or process issues.

Experience (Required):

* Office-based customer service or sales experience
* Making outbound sales or account management calls
* Building and maintaining client relationships
* Previous experience in training or hire companies
