Overview
Social Worker - Children with Disabilities Team. We are recruiting for a Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities Team covering the North of the County (Bedworth, Nuneaton and North Warwickshire). The position is full time for 37 hours per week and on a permanent contract basis. Based at Hillary Road Office in Nuneaton.
Responsibilities
* Undertake Family Help Assessments and work with Children in Need, children subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Care.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and partner with universal and mainstream services to support children, young people and families.
* Build strong relationships and connections with families to achieve the best outcomes for vulnerable children.
* Work across the North of the County (Bedworth, Nuneaton and North Warwickshire) with a mix of office and home-based working (office-based at least twice per week).
* Provide assessments, develop outcomes-focused and child-friendly plans, and contribute to service delivery in the Children with Disabilities Team.
Key Requirements
* Ambitious, professional, conscientious social worker to join the team.
* Experience with children and young people with complex needs and disabilities preferred.
* Knowledge of challenges faced by families as a whole; skilled in completing assessments and developing outcomes-focused plans.
* Team player, able to work with colleagues across disciplines, share knowledge, and support delivery of the best outcomes for children and families.

* Professional Social Work qualification
* Social Work England Registration
Role Details
* Based at Hillary Road Office in Nuneaton.
* Working pattern: 9am–5.30pm Mon–Thu and 9am–5pm Friday.
* Occasionally required to work outside these hours in emergencies.
* Mixture of office and home-based working; office presence required at least twice per week.
