RG Consultancy are working with a professional services business in Stockport who are recruiting an administrator to work alongside their accounts/payroll department. This is an ideal role for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a background in general administration or accounts. 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays Free onsite parking Close to public transport links Pension Scheme The Role Preparation of invoices accurately and efficiently Handle weekly and monthly timesheet entries for staff and clients Perform data entry and update financial records using accounting software and MS Excel Liaise with clients and team members regarding billing and payment queries Updating, maintaining and onboarding new and existing client information Ownership of the accounts spreadsheet Answering calls to clients, dealing with queries Making appointments and diary management Greeting clients and being a first point of contact on site and over the phone Order and purchase office supplies when needed General administration; managing filing, emails, phone calls and providing general administrative support to the accounts and payroll team The Person Previous experience in a similar admin role (accounts/finance admin support would be an advantage) Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Good written and verbal communication skills Experience within an accountancy practice would be an advantage
