Technical Support Engineer
Location: Broughton (Onsite requirement)
Pay Rate: £26.92 per hour PAYE / £36.00 per hour Umbrella + shift uplift
Contract Duration: Until November 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week (overtime paid at premium rate)
Shifts: Double Day (One week earlies, one week lates) - shift uplift of 20%
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join a leading manufacturing environment, supporting production operations and maintaining the smooth running of shopfloor activities.
You will be responsible for addressing technical issues, supporting work order management, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production area. This is an ideal role for someone with strong hands-on experience in aviation, manufacturing, or other fast-paced engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide day-to-day lineside support to resolve technical issues affecting production.
2. Manage missing parts, non-conformities, concessions, DQNs, maintenance requirements, and tooling needs.
3. Support work order management, including rework, out-of-cycle tasks, and prioritisation of serial/rework orders.
4. Identify recurring issues and escalate to specialist support teams.
