Level 3 Facilities Supervisor Apprenticeship at Lings Bar Hospital
Open to all applicants aged 18 and over who hold a valid UK driving licence. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) designed to support career development in facilities management across healthcare environments.
Salary & Progression
* First 12 months: Apprenticeship wage of approximately £14,774 per annum
* Final 9 months: Progression to Band 3 salary
* Includes 6 hours per week of paid study time
Based at Lings Bar Hospital, with experience gained across multiple community sites including hospitals, inpatient units, day centres, health centres, and office spaces.
Designed to develop leadership and supervisory skills in line with the Facilities Manager Level 3 Apprenticeship. Supported to grow into a supervisory position, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility as competence and confidence develop.
Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, supporting quality assurance, and contributing to staff development and team culture.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), deducted over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service, with an annual fee of £16.
The Facilities Supervisor Apprentice will support the coordination of daily operations across Facilities Services, including cleaning, portering, catering, waste management, and deliveries. They will ensure work is allocated effectively, standards are upheld, patient meals are provided on time, and equipment and vehicles are maintained. The role involves assisting with audits, inspections, and staff training. Core working hours are between 07:00 and 18:30, Monday to Friday, with occasional earlier starts. Travel between sites is required.
