Tissue Viability Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen working as an administrative assistant with the Tissue Viability Team within Dorset Healthcare. It will be working alongside Tissue Viability Specialist Nurses to provide office management, administrative and secretarial support to the Tissue Viability Service to enable effective delivery of the Service.
This is a part time role of 22.5 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexiblyto meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
To ensure the provision of effective and efficient secretarial and administrative support including dealing with telephone/teams enquiries internally and with other agencies; maintaining good communications between staff members of the Trust, using own initiative and managing own workload. Taking referrals into the service and actioning these on SystmOne.
To take minutes of meetings, typing and distribution of minutes and supporting papers following the appropriate training if required.
To have access to team diaries, plan and organise activities and events including meetings with internal and external organisations as requested.
To maintain the effective distribution of incoming and outgoing electronic mail.
To format reports as required ensuring protocols for layout and standard trust formatting are followed.

Person Specification
Educational requirements/Education
* Secretarial/administrative Certificate (Pitman/RSA 3)
* Computer Literacy Qualification
* Grade 5 GCSE or above English qualification
Skills/Experience/Knowledge base
* Previous office experience or work in a similar environment
* Previous experience with minute writing and organising meetings
Information Technology
* Good working knowledge of computer programmes (Microsoft word, excel, outlook, power point
* Good working knowledge of Healthcare IT systems (SystemOne)
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and prioritise work
* High level of organisational skills and ability to anticipate, plan and be proactive
