* Task leadership and direction / mentorship of more junior team members
* Production of technical guidance and analysis to influence policy, corporate strategies and urban planning.
* Providing written comments and producing reports and presentations with excellent visual and grammatical quality.
* Working as part of multidisciplinary teams (including, but not limited to attending meetings with architects, planners, government agencies and clients)
* Formulating external presentations for outreach and business development purposes.
You will be a passionate sustainability practitioner with experience in the construction/built environment sector;you will ideally be able to demonstrate the following…
* Experience in a comparable sustainability consulting role with a focus on the built environment;
* Ideally some specialist knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Energy and Carbon; Building Performance; Natural Capital; Climate Resilience; External Environments; Health & Wellbeing; Social Value; Circular economy.
* Ability to communicate in an effective and confident manner
* Working knowledge of wellbeing and sustainable design techniques, analysis or modelling relevant to the construction industry or corporate strategies
* Experience of undertaking technical analysis, and the development of suitable responsive strategies
* Working knowledge of relevant UK policy and regulation (or equivalent)
* Experience producing high quality graphical and written outputs
* Experience in sustainability strategy development (buildings and/or masterplans)
* Assessment system qualifications (e.g. LEED, BREEAM, WELL) and evidence of practical competence of their application.
It would also be advantageous if you could demonstrate the following…
