Job Description
3. Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
5. Carry out preventative maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability.
6. Collaborate with the wider engineering team to identify and implement process improvements.
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on equipment performance.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
9. Order and manage spare parts inventory to support maintenance activities.
10. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns during the weekend shift.
The Successful Applicant
11. A recognised qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
12. Proven hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems.
13. Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault diagnosis.
14. Knowledge of health and safety standards in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
15. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
16. Willingness to work weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7am-7pm).
