Salary: £27,066.08 per year (pro-rata)
Join Amplius as a Relief Community Support Worker and help provide vital housing support to our customers in supported accommodation. You’ll help people live independently with dignity, promoting wellbeing and respecting their individual needs through personalised support plans and established policies.
Snapshot of your role

Support customers, including those with complex needs, to live independently and maintain tenancies.
*
Promote dignity, choice, wellbeing, equality, and inclusion through personalised support plans.
*
Act as a key worker: assess needs, create and maintain support plans, risk assessments, and records.
*
Work flexibly as part of a team or alone, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
*
Build and maintain relationships with customers and external agencies to encourage social interaction and wellbeing.
*
Assist customers with practical life skills, finances, benefits, budgeting, and accessing services.
*
Ensure health, safety, safeguarding, and compliance with Amplius policies while reporting issues and monitoring progress.
What we’re looking for

Good literacy and numeracy, with clear communication and accurate record-keeping using Microsoft Office.

Understanding of safeguarding, equal opportunities, and data protection.
*
Empathetic, respectful, and able to maintain confidentiality.
*
Works well independently and in a team, with a friendly and reliable approach.
*
Strong listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, confident in stressful situations.
*
Organised with attention to detail and committed to high-quality, customer-focused support.
Enhanced DBS clearance including barred list check is required for this role.
