I am working with a leading independent property and asset management consultancy who are looking to grow the Birmingham office. They are looking for a Property Manager who has experience with Commercial Assets and is looking for a new challenge. They are open to looking at candidates who have recently graduated through to Surveyor level. They pride themselves on their values and a strong ESG focus. You will be engaging directly with clients, building relationships and managing your own portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio and Client Management : Oversee the day-to-day management of a diverse property portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for both clients and occupiers. Develop and maintain strong relationships while delivering tailored, strategic advice aligned with each client's objectives. Commercial and Financial Oversight : Take responsibility for the preparation, management, and reconciliation of service charge budgets, ensuring transparency and cost efficiency. Drive value-add initiatives that enhance asset performance and client returns, while managing fee billing, cash collection, and identifying opportunities for service improvement. Team Leadership and Best Practice : Collaborate effectively within a team environment. Contribute to wider business initiatives, stay informed of industry developments and actively engage in local networking to support business grow The Ideal Candidate: Qualifications: Working towards RICS qualification, recently graduated or recently chartered. Knowledge: Strong understanding of property law, including Section 25 notices. Skills: Exceptional ability to adapt, prioritize, and handle multiple demands and queries effectively. Proactive in problem-solving and taking the initiative to resolve issues.
