We are delighted to be working with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the heart of Hammersmith, who are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a long-term position.
This small, community-focused school where staff truly get to know each child and their families, creating a warm, supportive environment that allows each pupil to flourish. The school is especially proud of its Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which lays strong foundations for learning in a creative, engaging, and caring setting.
Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, planned lessons and activities
* Lead small group sessions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy to boost pupil’s progress
* Provide a personalised support for individual pupils, including those with SEND
* Foster strong, trusting relationships to support pupils SEMH needs
* Promote a calm, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere
* Observe and report on pupil progress and behaviour to the class teacher or SENCO
* Build positive partnerships with parents and carers as part of the school community
* Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Diploma / Degree in Childcare and/or Education
* Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* Up-to-date Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service
* Previous or current experience working with children in a school setting
The pay range advertised is based on employment through an umbrella company.
