We're seeking an experienced Interim Group Finance Controller to lead finance reporting and controls across a portfolio of UK & Ireland entities (combined turnover >£250M). Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is critical in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth operations during a period of expansion and development.
Role Scope
1. Lead monthly and year-end reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.
2. Manage relationships with international Shared Service Centres.
3. Oversee team reporting for statutory accounts, tax, pensions, and audit requirements.
4. Partner with FP&A and business teams to drive transparency and performance.
5. Support process improvements, systems (SAP integration), and ad-hoc projects.
Skills & Experience
6. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience.
7. Background in group reporting/controlling across multiple entities.
8. Hands-on experience with Shared Service Centres.
9. Skilled in audit, compliance, and financial governance.
10. Advanced Excel; SAP/Power BI/ONESTREAM experience a plus.
11. Confident, proactive, and able to deliver results quickly.
