You will play a crucial role in supporting the Managing Partner by overseeing a dedicated and collaborative team of fee earners, solicitors, and administrative staff. Additionally, you will assist with key aspects of the firm's operations, including accounting, financial management, HR, IT, and regulatory compliance. This includes handling client onboarding, managing the firm's case management system, overseeing lead generation platforms, and maintaining client relationships. You'll also ensure our firm remains accredited with prestigious organisations such as The Legal 500, Conveyancing Quality Scheme, and RACO, contributing to our reputation for good practice.
The role requires a confident and enthusiastic individual to assist a rapidly growing firm and offers a good salary and long-term prospects for the right candidate.
This role supports the Managing Partner in all aspects of practice management and compliance, contributing to the firm's growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Team Management: You will manage a close-knit team of fee earners and administrative staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and collaborating with the Managing Partner.
* Operations and Compliance: From client onboarding and compliance with regulatory standards to overseeing the firm's case management systems and ensuring the office runs seamlessly, your influence will be felt across the entire firm.
* Accounts & Financial Oversight: You will assist with legal cashier duties, support billing, manage credit control, and contribute to financial planning, ensuring the firm stays on top of its financial goals.
* Business Development & Marketing: Work closely with the firm's Business Development Executive and marketing consultants to implement growth initiatives, networking events, and foster key relationships that fuel the firm's continued expansion.
* HR & Recruitment: Assist with recruitment, staff appraisals, and training. You'll ensure compliance with employment laws while fostering a positive workplace environment.
* IT & Case Management: Collaborate with internal and external IT providers to maintain smooth operations and optimise the efficiency of the firm's case management systems.

* IT and project management skills: Fully computer-literate with experience using case management systems.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Managerial experience, preferably legal
