Back of House Event Operations & Logistics Manager

Salary: Up to £45,000 + bonus
My client is a high-profile London events venue delivering large-scale, food-led experiences. They are now seeking a Back of House Event Operations & Logistics Manager to take ownership of all behind-the-scenes delivery across a busy and varied events programme.
This is a critical operational role focused on logistics, planning and execution. You will ensure events run efficiently, safely and in line with detailed operational plans, managing everything from staffing and stock movement through to supplier coordination and infrastructure.
The role will suit a highly organised operator who thrives in complex environments and enjoys being at the centre of large-scale event delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all back-of-house logistics including set-up, breakdown, staffing and supplier coordination
Translate event briefs into clear, executable operational plans
Oversee stock movement, equipment logistics and event infrastructure across multiple spaces
Work closely with front-of-house and client-facing teams to ensure seamless delivery
Manage timelines, run sheets and operational schedules
Ensure compliance with health and safety, venue regulations and operational standards
Troubleshoot and resolve on-the-day challenges efficiently
Drive continuous improvement of processes, systems and operational efficiency
About You
Proven experience in event operations, logistics or large-scale hospitality delivery
Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage complex logistics
Experience managing back-of-house operations including staffing, stock and suppliers
Calm under pressure with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
Strong understanding of health and safety and compliance within events
Collaborative team player able to work across multiple departments
Experience working within unique or heritage venues advantageous
