Job Title: Midday Supervisor
Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire
Salary: £ - £ per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Part-time, Term-time only
GSL Education is currently recruiting a Midday Supervisor to join a friendly and welcoming school in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important role in creating a safe, happy, and inclusive lunchtime environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during the lunch period.
* Encourage positive behaviour and good table manners among students.
* Support and engage with pupils to promote social interaction and inclusion.
* Deal with minor incidents or accidents calmly and appropriately.
* Work with school staff to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all pupils.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children (in a school or childcare setting) is desirable.
* A caring, patient, and reliable attitude.
* Ability to communicate effectively with children and colleagues.
* A positive and proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
