Deputy Department Manager - RNA

With the demand for Endoscopy Services increasing we have the opportunity for a Part Time Deputy Department Manager to join our Team. This post is across site working between Scarborough and Bridlington assisting with the daily running and development of the Endoscopy Services. We work closely with York Endoscopy, ensuring training and development is developed and delivered equally across the Trust. As part of your role you will assist with developing training and writing guidelines.
Main duties of the job
* Managing the daily running of the Endoscopy department across Scarborough and Bridlington.
* Assisting clinicians with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
* Completing pre-assessment for patients attending endoscopy.
* Participating in the nurses on‑call rota.
* Completing e‑rosters and keeping HR documents up to date in collaboration with staff members.
* Keeping training and development documents up to date with current guidelines and completing training with staff members.
* Ensuring all mandatory training is completed and attending other training opportunities which will assist you to ensure excellence in care and practice within the department.

Person Specification
Experience
* At least 18 months at Band 5 or equivalent.
* Insight into clinical speciality.
Qualifications
* Clinical leadership.
* Registered Nurse (Level 1).
* Understanding of training needs in relation to post.
