Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you will play a key role in managing a maintenance team to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of hospital engineering services. You will oversee the maintenance of complex plant, equipment, and systems across hospital facilities, ensuring high standards of performance and adherence to legislation. Your responsibilities include reviewing and implementing planned maintenance programmes, maintaining the physical asset register, and supporting minor schemes and capital projects. What You’ll Do: Carrying out Monthly PPM To complete basic repairs on hoists including diagnosing issues To be able to complete tasks in a timely manner. To complete Monthly meter readings To complete basic repairs and diagnose issues to baths. Make sure all lift door tracks are clear on site. To support shift in completing lift PPMs on site Work with the insurance company to have repaired hoist get through inspection. Organise and monitor the lifting equipment on site. Assist with Fire calls and lift trappings on site where required What You Bring: HTM 08 Lifts Authorised Person Certificated Experience in the maintenance of Lift / LOLER services. Experience in the line management of staff. Experience in the management of contracts and contractors. Have a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation affecting their work. Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports. Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office software and email Ability to plan and programme works to achieve best value.
