We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our team at Gatwick IRC and Derwentside IRC.
Gatwick IRC, based in the heart of Gatwick, providing care to around 440 patients.
Derwentside IRC is based in Consett, County Durham. The site supports up to 80 women aged 18+.
Within this role you will work collaboratively with the Integrated Mental Health and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service, as well as line managing an Assistant Psychologist and supporting them with the delivery of interventions.
Hours
Monday - Friday (08:00 to 16:00 or 09:00 to 17:00)
The role includes working 2.5 days on-site at Gatwick IRC and 1 day working from home.
This is a part time role working 3.5 days per week.
You’ll receive an annual salary of £64,455 - £74,896 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary.
You will:
* Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT)
* Undertake psychological assessments
* Support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
* Deliver psychological interventions to cases of complexity
* Deliver and oversee 1:1 and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
* Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
* Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate

Requirements
* Qualified clinical, counselling or forensic psychologist and registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist;
* Postgraduate qualification/training in at least one specific mode of psychological therapy relevant to people with severe and long standing mental health difficulties eg: CBT, Systemic /family therapy, Mindfulness based therapies, CAT, DBT, Mentalisation, Schema Therapy
* Experience of providing evidence based psychological interventions to adults with a range of mental health problems;
* Experience of working with mental health forensic populations;
* Working knowledge of clinical governance, including relevant approaches and tools;
