The Role

Join Howden Compressors as a Project Manager – Turbo and take the lead in delivering high-impact blower package projects across the globe. Based in Renfrew, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing complex engineering projects from sales handover through to site delivery. This is a dynamic, client-facing role where you'll be the key point of contact, driving project success through expert coordination, budget control, and strategic problem-solving.

We're looking for someone with a strong engineering background (HNC or equivalent) and a solid grasp of project management methodologies. Your understanding of rotating equipment and the oil & gas or petrochemical sectors will be invaluable as you navigate technical challenges and ensure timely, high-quality project execution. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, managing schedules, cash flows, and contractual obligations to maximise project margins and client satisfaction.

This role demands a confident leader with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You'll be expected to think laterally, resolve issues proactively, and maintain a sharp focus on financial performance and delivery standards. Familiarity with compressor system packaging and tools like MS Project will give you an edge, as will a commitment to continuous improvement and customer service excellence.

If you're ready to make a global impact, travel occasionally (5–10% annually), and thrive in a fast-paced, technically rich environment, we want to hear from you.
