Role Description
This is a full‑time hybrid role for an Executive Chef based across all sites. The Executive Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, ingredient sourcing, food preparation, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. They will lead and mentor the kitchen team, manage inventory, and develop and implement new recipes consistent with the Jerk Junction brand. The role also involves maintaining quality control, optimizing kitchen workflow, and collaborating with management on strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Expertise in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation, especially in Caribbean cuisine.
* Strong team management, mentoring, and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene standards, and food inventory management.
* Creativity and passion for cooking with the ability to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Prior experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role in culinary management.
* Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, including on‑site in Manchester and Liverpool.
* Commitment to delivering high‑quality experiences and fostering a positive team environment.
