On behalf of our client, due to continued growth within their Facilities Management division, Kingston Recruitment are currently looking to source an experienced and reliable Electrician to join a busy and expanding team. This is a varied field‑based role supporting a range of commercial and domestic clients across the region.
The successful candidate will be provided with their own company van and fuel card for work purposes.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance work
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults within commercial and domestic properties
* Complete installations, rewiring, testing, and upgrades in line with current regulations
* Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and fault finding
* Fire alarm and emergency lighting testing
* Complete EICR and EIC certification
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with Health & Safety regulations
* Order and assess parts required for repairs and maintenance
* Provide professional advice and excellent customer service to clients
* Work independently or as part of a wider maintenance team
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
* Previous experience within commercial and/or facilities maintenance environments
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Familiarity with NICEIC standards desirable

* Overtime paid at 1.5×
* Night work paid at 1.33×
* Sunday work paid at 2.0×
* Occasional weekend and night work required
