Sewell Wallis are currently working with a market leading distribution business based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, who are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support their busy team. This is a great role for someone with transactional experience who is wanting to build on their skills and join an impressive organisation. The ideal candidate will have Accounts Payable experienced and have the numerical and organisation skills to maintain effective and efficient Accounts Payable processes. What will you be doing? Processing a high volume of invoices. Matching invoices to purchase orders. Producing timely and accurate statement reconciliations. Managing both external and internal queries. Assisting in resolving invoice queries. Any other additional duties as required to support the wider finance department.What skills are we looking for? Proven experience within Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger or within a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience using accountancy software. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Someone who is numerate, logical, and detail-oriented.
