Job summary
As a practice nurse at Haven Health, you will play a vital role in delivering primary care services to our diverse patient population. You will work autonomously while being fully supported by a well-established team. The practice prioritises patient care but fosters a fun, supportive environment. Main duties of the job:
* Chronic disease management, particularly respiratory
* Childhood and adult immunisations
* Wound care and dressings
* Health promotion and patient education
* Cervical cytology screening
Additional responsibilities include:
* Providing general and specific health assessments and screenings, with referrals to GPs as necessary
* Advising patients on health and minor ailments, with referrals as needed
* Administering nursing treatments in collaboration with GPs or independently per protocols
* Maintaining accurate records to ensure continuity and safety of care
* Contributing to the development of work practices within policy guidelines
