Takeback Software is a fast-growing SaaS company helping trade businesses like electricians, scaffolders, and waste firms manage jobs more efficiently. We’re expanding and looking for a business development professional who knows how to pick up the phone, speak confidently to decision-makers, and close deals.
You’ll be selling TrackTrade, our job management platform, to trade businesses across the UK, including electricians, scaffolding firms, waste removal services, and maintenance contractors. These are practical, fast-moving businesses where time and margins matter, and our software helps streamline their operations.
Prospecting and generating new leads (primarily phone-based)
Booking and running demos (remotely or in person)
Closing new business and following through into onboarding
Keeping CRM records (HubSpot) up to date
Presenting weekly reports to the MD on pipeline development and deals closed
Confident selling by phone to business owners, office managers, and site coordinators in practical, no-nonsense environments
~ Strong communication skills in person and over the phone
~ Comfortable with basic business tools like Excel, Outlook, and HubSpot
~ Experience in software or SaaS is a plus but not essential
~ Tools and support provided: phone, CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
