Proven experience as a welder/fabricator SVQ or City and Guilds qualified to level 3 Proficient in welding techniques such as Tig / Mig on both mild and stainless steels Capable of passing Tig & Mig coding's Can interpret specifications, drawings, and instructions Can demonstrate a clear understanding of the sequence of events required to fabricate a product from start to finish Committed to adhering to company health and safety policy and procedures Ensure the safe use of hand tools and machinery Willingness to learn new skills and continually progress through the business What will your role look like? Utilise TIG and MIG welding techniques to fabricate high-quality components from mild and stainless steel, adhering to industry standards and specifications Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to ensure accurate production and assembly Operate and maintain workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently, including grinders, saws, and welding equipment Conduct routine inspections on fabricated items Adhere to all company health and safety regulations, wearing PPE and maintaining a clean and organised workspace What can you expect in return?
