What You'll Do:
- Support class teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and creating a positive, engaging classroom environment.
- Work one-to-one or with small groups of students with diverse learning needs.
- Help prepare teaching resources and support classroom activities.
- Encourage participation, confidence, and curiosity in every pupil.
- Assist with behaviour management and help maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
- Supervise students during break times and school trips.
- Collaborate with staff to share ideas, strategies, and best practices.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and achievements.
What We're Looking For:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
- A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding of children's individual needs.
- A team player who can also work independently when required.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
