Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician – Northampton (Monday to Friday, 2pm–10pm)

We’re looking for a detail-driven, qualified Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician to join our friendly Northampton team. In this role, you’ll be the final safeguard ensuring the safe and accurate supply of renal and HPN orders, making a direct impact on patients who rely on life-sustaining treatments.
What you’ll do
* Complete the final accuracy check on prescriptions containing prescription-only and pharmacy medicines.
* Record, correct, and escalate errors to the duty supervisors and lead pharmacist.
* Maintain accurate pharmacy records, ensuring full compliance with regulations and a clear audit trail.
* Ensure all prescriptions are processed on time, with thorough handovers across shifts.
* Support broader pharmacy procedures, including retrieving outstanding prescriptions from hospitals.
What you’ll bring
* A UK-recognised Level 3 pharmaceutical qualification (BTEC, NVQ or equivalent).
* A GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with a UK-recognised / GPhC-accredited Accuracy Checking qualification.
* A sharp eye for detail and proven experience working with high-volume orders under tight deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and organisational skills.
* Experience with complaint management or prescription investigations (advantageous).
* Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices in a pharmacy environment.
