Your Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be leading on the mechanical design and project coordination, working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors. You’ll be involved from early-stage design to commissioning, bringing a practical, detail-oriented mindset and a passion for quality.
You’ll Be Doing Things Like:
* Attending and contributing to client and design team meetings
* Conducting surveys, feasibility studies, and writing detailed technical reports
* Producing detailed mechanical design schemes and specifications
* Reviewing contractor documentation and providing technical support during installation
* Supporting cost planning and assessing tenders
* Mentoring junior engineers and identifying training needs
* Spotting business opportunities and contributing to the growth of the practice
What We’re Looking For:
* Experienced Mechanical Engineer in building services
* Confident communicator and client liaison
* Comfortable with both technical delivery and project leadership
* Proactive and organized with excellent attention to detail
* Familiar with relevant regulations and professional standards (CIBSE, etc.)
