What You'll Be Doing
We're looking for a dedicated Team Member to join us at our Scunthorpe site, supporting the Testing Solutions Department. Your key focus will be on maintaining, servicing and repairing the assets located within our Analytical & Mechanical Testing facilities located across Scunthorpe site, operating to high standards of customer service and health & safety.
* Work under the direct supervision of the Craft Team Leader & Departmental Engineer to maintain the required level of asset availability supporting Testing Operations.
* Use your expertise to tackle engineering, quality and safety challenges as they arise, quickly responding to issues and initiating corrective actions to keep things running smoothly.
* Record your work activities and use the appropriate information systems to track progress and maintain accurate records.
What We Need From You
* To be considered for this role, you'll need at least an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), or a recognized apprenticeship.
* Ideally, you'll bring experience in maintenance, fault-finding, or related technical work within a commercial or engineering environment. A key part of the role is adapting to new equipment, so flexibility and a willingness to learn and develop are essential.
* Knowledge and proven experience to maintain and competently diagnose root cause faults on CNC/ PLC controlled equipment would be advantageous but is not essential.
* *Certificate evidence will be required.
