This practice brings together architects, planners, landscape architects, interior designers, graphic designers and sustainability specialists - all united by a shared commitment to creating great places to live and work. As a B Corp Certified organisation, they place equal importance on social, environmental, and economic sustainability.

The Bid Manager will play a key role in shaping the success of this growing practice - leading the development and delivery of compelling, high-quality submissions that win work and strengthen the firm’s industry profile. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, creative, and values-driven environment where career development, wellbeing, and inclusion are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the end-to-end bid and tender process, from initial decision to submission and outcome.
* Coordinate bid launches, reviews, and strategy meetings with design teams and senior stakeholders.
* Collaborate with project leads to develop clear, compelling win strategies tailored to each opportunity.
* Manage and quality-assure all submission materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
* Work closely with internal partners, project leaders, and the wider marketing team to produce visually engaging and well-structured proposals.
* Oversee tender portals, document management, and submission logistics.
* Conduct post-bid reviews and implement continuous improvements to processes and outputs.
* Build and maintain a comprehensive bid library of high-quality, reusable content and visual assets.
* Support preparation and coordination of client interviews and presentations.
* Contribute to broader business development initiatives and ensure alignment with the firm’s values and sustainability commitments.

Skills & Experience

* Degree-qualified or equivalent professional experience.
* Extensive proven track record in managing complex bids within the design, architecture, engineering, or built environment sectors.
* Strong experience developing bid strategies and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail and consistency.
* Skilled in producing and editing content that clearly articulates value propositions and key messages.
* Confident managing deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office 365 and expert-level skills in Adobe InDesign (Photoshop and Illustrator also beneficial).
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* A proactive, calm, and collaborative approach, with a focus on quality, creativity, and continuous improvement.

* Benefits
* Enhanced pension
* Discretionary bonus
* Onsite wellbeing classes
* Additional leave
