Group Procurement Officer
Location: Crawley (1-2 days per week in the office)
Up to £40,000 + bonus & benefits
Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be partnering a large business based in Crawley on the hire of a Group Procurement Officer on a permanent basis.
Join a dynamic procurement team, managing supplier relationships, optimising costs, and driving sustainability initiatives.
What You'll Do:
* Oversee procurement sub-categories and suppliers
* Run tenders and negotiate contracts (up to £1.5m spend)
* Conduct market research on trends, pricing & sustainability
* Mitigate supply risks and support continuous improvement
* Analyse supplier performance and assist in new supplier approvals
What We’re Looking For:
* 2–4 years of experience in procurement or related fields
* Solid foundational knowledge of procurement processes with strong analytical capabilities.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships and resolve problems efficiently
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Strong influencing and persuasion skills
* Actively pursuing or studying CIPS is an advantage
