SUMMARY:
The Coordinator II at NEKCA supports service delivery in their area of specialty, with responsibilities that may include mentoring, grant reporting, and ensuring smooth operations at service locations in support of the Program Manager. They work collaboratively to meet program needs and build capacity within the program.
This position is for the Coordinator II of the NEKCA Youth Centers within the Youth Advocacy Department. The role involves supporting programmatic operations, regional collaborations, data collection, and grant reporting, alongside providing direct services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supports the Youth Center Coordinator duties and responsibilities, including those outlined in the job description, and assists the Program Manager with specific duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee Data Collection and Reporting for Youth Center Grants
• Mentor New Hires
• Program Analysis and Development

• Knowledge of basic computer skills, record keeping, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, and database management.
• Must be a mandated reporter.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Sensitivity to challenges faced by low-income individuals, with some knowledge of community resources.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Primarily office environment with moderate noise and temperature control. Involves sitting for long periods, using office equipment, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and some physical movement.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
BA required; 1-2 years relevant experience required; 3-4 years preferred.

Transportation Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation. May require transporting participants.
