Overview
The Social Planning Senior Executive is responsible for the planning, organisation, and operational efficiency of the brand's social media activity. This role ensures all campaigns, calendars, and reporting are clearly structured, visible to stakeholders, and aligned with wider marketing priorities. The Social Planning Senior Executive supports the brand's social media strategy by ensuring effective campaign planning, coordination, and execution across all social platforms. This role bridges creative, paid, influencer, and CRM teams to deliver cohesive and timely social output. Acting as the organisational backbone of the social team, they would support the Social Media Manager by keeping the team on track, informed, and aligned.
Responsibilities
* Own the maintenance and updating of the social media calendar, planning decks, and internal documentation
* Support the Social Media Manager in day-to-day campaign planning, ensuring activity is integrated with business and marketing priorities
* Work closely with Influencers, Paid and CRM Teams to ensure content efficiency and plans align, as well as identify any projects or opportunities to scale collaboration to meet the social team's objectives
* Support the ongoing development of the brand's channels framework by ensuring platform best practices, trends, and algorithm shifts are reflected in planning
* Optimise content distribution plans across platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest), ensuring each channel's role, audience, and format requirements are considered
* Analyse platform performance and planning insights to recommend improvements to posting cadence, content mix, and channel priorities
* Manage internal updates, team decks, and meeting preparation to keep stakeholders aligned and informed
* Track campaign and platform timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and all activity is captured in the planning system
* Work closely with the Social Content Manager to align creative content with calendar planning
* Ensure all campaigns and activations are documented and communicated clearly to wider teams
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, visibility, and workflow efficiency within the team
* Assist with ad hoc requests for planning, reporting, or campaign documentation from stakeholders
