Within this active supervisory role, you will be required to ensure the security and safety of a prestigious client site. Working as part of a team in a modern, fast-paced environment, you will carry out a range of duties including:
1. Overall responsibility for security operations on shift: SIA checks, uniform and appearance of officers, team briefing, handover, patrols including CCTV, checks, lock/unlock of premises, reporting equipment faults.
2. Liaising with Site Security Manager: For day-to-day operations.
3. Reporting and responding to security incidents and emergencies.
4. Managing security incidents: Including fire evacuations, conflict management, and physical interventions.
5. Supporting investigations: Assisting the Contract Manager and issuing reports of non-conformities or concerns.
6. Reporting: Writing comprehensive reports on incidents and daily activities.
7. Escalating incidents: To ICTS management.
8. Adhering to protocols: Reading, understanding, and signing standing orders and risk assessments; recommending changes as needed.
9. Documentation: Ensuring security documentation is correctly filled out.
10. Briefings: Keeping the Contract Manager informed of site activities daily.
11. Maintaining site standards: Keeping security areas clean and tidy.
12. Reporting equipment issues: Loss or damage.
13. Team leadership: Coaching, training, mentoring new team members, delegating tasks, and empowering the team.
14. Maintaining professionalism: Confidentiality, impartiality, and professionalism within the team.
Additional requirements include:
* Five-year checkable background.
* Passing a criminal records check (CRC).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (if applicable).
* Excellent command of English, both oral and written.
* SIA license (Door Supervisor or Close Protection).
* Full, clean manual UK driving license.
* Supervisory experience.
