As part of their continued growth, theyre looking to appoint an experienced Operations / Contracts Manager to join their leadership team in Warrington. This is a pivotal role offering real career progression, overseeing multiple live projects and key client relationships while supporting the Operations Director in driving operational performance across the business. The Role As Operations Manager, youll take ownership of multiple projects and clients overseeing the full client relationship, work development, overseeing delivery, commercial performance, and quality from bid through to completion. Youll provide strategic and hands-on leadership to project teams, ensuring the highest standards of safety, programme, and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: Client Management: Oversee delivery for key clients across 23 live projects, ensuring long-term partnerships are strengthened Bid Management: Lead and coordinate the bid process, supporting pre-construction and estimating teams Commercial Oversight: Oversee pricing, cost control, and value management across projects with the Commercial Director Operational Leadership: Manage site teams to deliver on time, safely, and to specification Risk, Quality & H&S: Ensure compliance and best practice in all operational phases Contracts Management: Carry out the usual contracts management duties reporting, forecasting, and performance monitoring Leadership Support: Report directly to the Operations Director, contributing to business strategy and growth About You Youll be a commercially aware and delivery-focused leader someone who can balance client relationships, project performance, and team management. You will ideally have: Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager, or Senior Project Manager within a main contractor A track record of successfully delivering multiple construction projects simultaneously Strong understanding of risk, quality, commercial management, and H&S compliance Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills The ability to manage projects from bid stage through to site handover A proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement The Offer Salary: Up to £75,000 (depending on experience) Package: Car / car allowance, pension, healthcare, and bonus Location: Warrington (WA postcode, West Side) Progression: Genuine opportunity to move into a senior operational leadership role This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected North West contractor at an exciting stage of growth offering autonomy, stability, and a clear route for career progression.
