Job Title: ESG AnalystLocation: Rotherham (fully site based)Salary: £30,000 - £33,000Elevation Tech & Transformation are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join one of our key clients in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in sustainability, data analysis and reporting. You'll play a key role in collecting, validating and analysing ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data, supporting the organisation's sustainability initiatives and regulatory reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, validate, and analyse ESG data across the organisation, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and workforce metricsSupport environmental and sustainability reporting processesMaintain trackers and dashboards to monitor KPIs and ESG-related risksGather and organise ESG data and supporting documentation for internal reporting, external stakeholders, and regulatory requirements (e.g. SECR)Assist in preparing emissions data for CBAM reporting, including coordinating data collection from production teams and suppliersContribute to ESOS reporting activitiesSupport the calculation of projected emissions for capital expenditure projectsDevelop and maintain documentation for data collection processes, identifying opportunities for improvementSkills & ExperienceDegree in sustainability, environmental science, finance, data analytics, or a related fieldExperience in data analysis, ESG, or a similar related roleExposure to a manufacturing environmentStrong analytical mindset with attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills or the ability to quickly develop strong IT proficiencyUnderstanding of spreadsheet development, including documentation and error-checking practicesAbility to manage and interpret data accuratelyThis is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in ESG within a supportive team, gaining hands-on experience in sustainability reporting and data analysis in a growing and evolving field.
