The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to join our manufacturing team following the departure of a valued team member. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a production background, including junior candidates looking to develop their career within a supportive and structured environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and products are manufactured to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
Planning production schedules and ensuring deadlines are consistently met
Monitoring and ensuring KPIs are achieved
Working closely and directly with production lines on a day-to-day basis
Ensuring all products meet quality and specification standards
Supporting continuous improvement across the production process
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Background in a production or manufacturing environment
Junior candidates will be considered
Experience within steel manufacturing is highly advantageous
Strong organisational and planning skills
Ability to work hands-on with production teams
Good attention to detail and quality standards
Training & Progression
Supportive approach to training and development

Clear progression pathway with potential to move into a Supervisor role
Package & Benefits
Salary: £34,740 per annum
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Shift Pattern: Days
Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
Pension: 4% employer / 5% employee
