As a Spanish teacher at this great school in Camden, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and effective lessons to students. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, where students can thrive and develop their language skills. With your passion for teaching and deep knowledge of the Spanish language, you will inspire students to embrace the language and its cultural aspects.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver Spanish lessons to students using various teaching methods and resources.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported.
* Plan and prepare educational materials and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
* Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and coordinate classroom activities.
* Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and educational trends in language learning.
* Bachelor's degree in Education or Spanish, or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Proven experience as a Spanish teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting.
* Deep knowledge of the Spanish language, including grammar, vocabulary, and cultural aspects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for the Spanish language among students.
