About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated D&T lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' creativity, technical skills, and understanding of design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging D&T lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in line with the National Curriculum, incorporating a range of materials and processes.
* Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore design and technology concepts with curiosity and enthusiasm.
* Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the school's vision and the latest advancements in D&T education.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and challenged to reach their full potential.
* Build positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting a growth mindset and a belief in their design and making abilities.
* Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings.
* Participate in whole-school events and initiatives, fostering a collaborative spirit and contributing to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified D&T Teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and fostering their understanding of design and technology principles.
