Job Title: Head of Financial Control (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

What You’ll Do
* Lead the financial control function, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across the organisation.
* Oversee transactional finance, payroll, and tax operations, delivering efficiency and excellence.
* Drive improvements in cash flow management and working capital strategies.
* Manage month-end and year-end close processes, producing high-quality consolidated financial statements.
* Ensure smooth delivery of external audits with minimal variances.
* Develop and embed robust financial policies and internal controls.
* Provide technical accounting guidance on complex issues and evolving standards.
* Build and inspire a high-performing team, guiding them through transformation and change.
* Play a key role in restructuring and streamlining activities.
About You
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant experience in senior finance roles.
* Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting principles.
* Proven ability to lead transformation projects and manage change effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience in audit processes and working with external advisors is desirable.
