Overview
Fabric Maintenance Engineer role at Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough (JLL). The main purpose of the position is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with JLL's PPM and task schedules.

Location: Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough
Core Hours: 08:00am - 18:00pm
Shift Pattern on Rotation:
* 5 days On - 3 days off x 4
* 4 days on - 4 days off x 3
Responsibilities
* Technical Maintenance Activities: General Carpentry; Fire door maintenance and repair; Weekly fire alarm testing; Weekly tap flushing; AHU Cleaning & Servicing; Basic plumbing and drainage repairs; Patch repairs to wall and floor tiling, carpets, lino & screeds; Suspended ceiling repairs; Shelving/racking installation and repairs; Lock changes/repairs; Painting & Decorating
* Operational Excellence: Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner; Work within the site\'s shift pattern requirements; Carry out all works requested in a professional and proactive manner; Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team; Manage JLL sub-contractors on site; Escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager as soon as possible
* Reporting & Communication: Production of technical and situational reports; Write activity reports in line with JLL procedures accurately and timely; Clear communication with the rest of the team and clients; Provide accurate timesheet information weekly and on time; Attend team meetings/briefings as requested
* Technology & Compliance: Proactively use the technology systems provided to stay compliant with contractual obligations; Assist management with quotations by giving accurate and good quality information for extra works; Ensure that JLL is always presented in a good light
* Emergency Support: Provide first line out of hours call out for the site
* Health, Safety & Environmental: Understand relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation; Handle materials and equipment safely; Participate in health and safety processes; Co-operate with JLL to fulfil its duties; Undertake other reasonable instructions from Contract/Line Managers
Qualifications & Skills
* Fabric Engineer apprenticeship/ Carpentry & Joinery qualifications
* Proven post-apprenticeship practical experience
* Good communication & interpersonal skills; Excellent communication with all levels of staff; Commitment to providing a high-quality service; Willing to work flexibly and as a team member; Ability to work overtime; Proactive in achieving high standards; Good IT and report writing skills; Ability to work under pressure
