Monarch Education is seeking to appoint a lunch time supervisor to join a primary school in Clevedon. This is a part-time position (2 hours a day Monday to Friday) required to start in September 2025. The school is looking for a versatile and hard working lunch time supervisor with experience of working with children of primary age. About the Role: As a lunch time supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals to pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Part of your role will be a catering assistant in the school kitchen, the other part of your role will be supervising children during their meal time. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess: Experience working with primary aged children across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Proven experience and understanding of working a s a catering assistant A patient, nurturing, and understanding approach to working with children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Resilience and the ability to adapt to different environments and pupil needs. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Availability to work Monday to Friday during term time. Qualifications: Certificate in Food Hygiene is essential for this position.
