Assessor – Early Support & Advice Hub Tameside Council – Adult Social Care We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assessor to join Tameside’s Early Support & Advice Hub (ESAH) – the first point of contact for Adult Social Care in the borough. About the role As the first point of contact, you will: Pick up calls and enquiries, gathering essential information. Speak directly with individuals, listening carefully and providing support. Carry out pre-screening of Care Act assessments. Focus on helping people live well and independently at home, drawing on community, voluntary and health services where appropriate. This is a frontline role that makes a real difference, supporting people to remain in their own homes and reducing the need for more intensive care. Key information Shift pattern: 4 days per week, 9 hours per day, including some weekend shifts. Flexible working: Some late shifts can be completed remotely. Contract: Short-term, to cover while permanent recruitment takes place. Driver: Essential – you must hold a valid driving licence. Pay PAYE: £13.01 per hour Umbrella: £17.65 per hour Why join?
