Overview

To work under the supervision of a qualified nurse and assist in the implementation of patient care both direct and non-direct. To assist the qualified nursing staff in the delivery of high quality direct and indirect patient care. To provide assistance and support to patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary team. To maintain high clinical standards. To help maintain a clean and safe ward environment.

Please note that it is a requirement of this Trust that all successful applicants pay for their own DBS certification if a DBS check is required for the post. The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first monthly pay.


Role and requirements

We are looking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals, who can cope with a high-pressured clinical environment. Good interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills are required to work in the Emergency Department at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital. People with a passion for wanting to learn how to provide the highest standards of Emergency Care are encouraged to apply. Candidates must demonstrate a compassion and caring attitude towards their patients and be able to deliver high standard of care. Candidates must possess good communication and organisational skills. You must be willing to work flexible hours to meet the service needs of our patients which includes rotation between days and nights.
