About the Role: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's vibrant music program, nurturing students' musical talents and fostering a lifelong appreciation for music. The role encompasses: Designing and delivering engaging and inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encompassing a diverse range of musical genres and styles. Developing comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational goals. Assessing student progress through regular feedback and evaluations, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs. Encouraging and supporting students' participation in extracurricular musical activities, such as ensembles, choirs, and performances. Collaborating with colleagues to create a vibrant and inclusive musical community within the school. Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Music or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary school level. A passion for music and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
