Prison Officer – HMP Whitemoor at HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS).

Teamwork is vital to keep the prison, offenders and everyone who works here safe. You will be required to work various shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities
* Protect the public and work to keep the prison, offenders and staff safe.
* Develop constructive, positive and professional relationships with offenders.
* Work as part of a team to meet the demands of a dynamic environment.
* Perform a range of roles in one day, including peacekeeper, counsellor or teacher as required.
* Engage with prisoners and support their progression while maintaining security and order.
* Adhere to training, procedures and professional standards to support rehabilitation and public safety.
* Work various shifts and weekends as required.
