Junior Service Desk Analyst
Collyer Bristow LLP is a leading mid-tier law firm based in London. We provide a comprehensive legal service to a wide range of businesses and private individuals. Our client base includes multinationals, public and private companies, partnerships, public sector organisations and private clients.
We have a vacancy for a Junior Service Desk Analyst to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a keen interest in technology and is looking to take their first or second role within a corporate IT team. There is scope for personal progression and development, assisting in the many forthcoming projects, helping to administer the firm's technology and take ownership of support tickets.
You would be supporting information technology activities and initiatives across the firm, including acting as the first point of contact for users encountering technical difficulties. This could involve answering phone calls, emails or handling in-person requests, basic IT troubleshooting, following established procedures and knowledge base resources to attempt to resolve common problems, logging user issues in a ticketing system, prioritising them based on urgency, and escalating complex problems to senior team members or third parties as required. You would also contribute to the development and maintenance of the knowledge base and internal documentation of solutions to frequently encountered problems.
You should be able to demonstrate an interest in, and enthusiasm for technology, possess good customer facing skills, enjoy solving problems, remain patient and calm under pressure, be flexible in terms of tasks undertaken and hours worked, pro-active, motivated and keen to be a part of the team and support the users.
You will ideally have experience of working in an office environment and providing customer service. Previous experience of working in a technology team or working in professional services is desirable, but not essential.
The hours of work will be 37.5 per week with a variable starting time between 8am and 9.30am. We offer hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days remotely).
The closing date for applications is 10 October 2025.
