Job Summary:
This role is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

* Equipment Operation: Operate assigned production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
* Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and identify any defects or issues.
* Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.
* Material Handling: Assist in the movement, loading, and unloading of raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
* Training and Development: Engage in training programs to enhance skills; prior machine operation.
* Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
* Communication: Maintain effective communication with the print & production department and team members.
* Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, equipment logs, and quality control reports.

Person Specification:

* Education: Functional skills
* Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or direct experience operating machinery preferred but not essential.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating production equipment and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and follow standard operating procedures.
* Physical attributes: Ability to stand for extended periods.

* Time Management: Excellent organisational skills, capable of prioritising tasks efficiently.
* Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork.

* Full driving licence is essential

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Schedule:

* 8-hour shift system: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, on a weekly rotating basis.
* Monday to Friday
* Ability to work overtime
* Shift times may vary according to business demands
